I’ve been busily working on the next Sensory Ops book, and this evening when I was working away, I suddenly had a flash of the movie Demolition Man. Specifically, I had recalled the scene where Hucksley asks John Spartan if he would like to make love. I’m not sure about you, but I crack up every time I watch that movie. Sandra Bullock is so awesome with the shock and dismay at the idea of exchanging bodily fluids, while Sly [...]
It’s easy to spot what is funny for you, what makes you laugh. I just spent an hour on the phone with a friend laughing over the pictures at peopleofwalmart.com. Hysterical stuff if you haven’t checked it out.
I’ve read books that make me laugh. Some may be a small chuckle while others are a roll on the floor till your guts hurt funny. I’ve never seen myself as able to write beyond the first one. See, I’m just not [...]

Well, for me, it’s sort of like the lyrics of this song and the way the girl in this video likely feels.
And a little insight into a song that [...]
Yesterday I got together with my new critique group and worked out some more of the plot for my next Sensory Ops book. It’s strange for me to have an official critique group as I’m a bit of a loner, but we’ll see how I do with this. I’m looking forward to it.
After yesterday I am ready to start on this story, but it occurs to me that I’m missing something I will likely need. Jokes. My heroine is [...]
