As the days have ticked away to today’s release of Illicit Intuitions, I’ve been thinking about how fun it might be to live in a world where paranormal elements were more readily accepted. Of course I know that would mean we’d likely have to deal with thingslike vampires and zombies and demons for real, which I wouldn’t necessarily like. I was thinking more along the lines of empaths and magicians and fairies. Not that they’re necessarily all good either.
Even in Illicit Intuitions as I made sure my hero was a good empath I knew he had to have his opposite. So, Dr. H is an absorbing empath and his nemesis is a projecting one. One uses his abilities to help people. The other uses his to inflict pain and misery. Yes, obviously there are some downsides there, too.
Tell me what you think, though? If we lived in a world where these paranormal elements we read about were real or more readily accepted, which ones would you like to see? What do you think our world would really be like?
And while we’re waiting for that world, indulge in a lighter side of the paranormal with Illicit Intuitions.
