Some New Releases!

I had a long chat with my Samhain editor just before Christmas and we have some great things planned for you this year. Kicking off the greatness, I have written another short story Freebie for Samhain that will be out in February for Valentine’s Day. If you remember Lana, Kieralyn’s reporter friend from SOUNDS TO DIE BY, well this will give you a little more about her. Keep an eye out for a link for that.

Also, and I am SOOOO excited about this, I’ve contracted Book 2 in the Sensory Ops Series. It’s going to be titled SCENT OF PERSUASION. Yes, that means more of my FBI Specialized Crime Unit guys. I’ve added an unofficial blurb and a short excerpt to the site for you.

I am also working on revisions for a treasure hunting story for Eden and Andrew (from the October Samhain Freebie). Keep your fingers crossed that my editor loves it and contracts it, and rest assured that I am busily working to bring you even more of the Sensory Ops books.

A New Newsletter!

I think most of you know that I had some issues with the last newsletter mailing list (Yahoo deleted them randomly.) In an effort to keep that from happening again, I’ve moved everything over and am getting things set up to kick off a new newsletter in January. I hope you’ll sign up in the sidebar. In the new year I will be having drawings exculsively for newsletter members. Subscribers are also automatically entereed in any contest have. It’s quick and simple. :)

News and an Upcoming Workshop!

SOUNDS TO DIE BY is now available. It is currently an eBook. It should be available in print in August.

Beginning October 19th I’ll be teaching a class at Candace Havens’ write_workshop on maintaining dual levels in a romantic suspense. It’s going to be interactive, and it will pertain to other genres beyond romantic suspense. The cost is free, so if you want to learn how I maximize word usage and paper space, check it out.

~ The September tote bag winner has been posted to the Contests page.

~ I’m getting the information for the October blog party together and ready to go at 1:00 am. I’m super excited about the coming month and hope that you enjoy what I have lined up. Maximum, Ian’s seeing-eye dog, is going to be our tour guide for the party.

~ I am almost finished with the first draft of the second Sensory Ops book and I am working on a proposal for a NY print pub. As soon as these two projects are finished I’ll be working on…well, the options are almost limitless. I have a lot of stories that need editing and others begging to be written. :)

What’s that mean? It means that the edits for Sounds to Die By are officially complete. The book is now headed toward formatting and reviews and release. WOO Hoo!

I’ve turned in the first round of edits and am lining out all the details for the release party. October is going to be tons of fun and there will be lots of goodies for you to win.
